국가발전의 정치경제학－프리드리히 리스트의 민족주의 정치경제학을 중심으로－ = Political Economy of National Development -on the nationalist political economy of Friedrich List-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the nationalist political economy of Friedrich List in the society of Korean political economy. In South Korea there has been a great gap between reality and academia because of the underdevelopment of the nationalist political economy among three major paradigms of political economy of national development. This study adopts the methodology of early hermeneutics to interpret List’s texts and reorganize their contexts. There are three contextual parts in the Listian political economy: first, List’s critique of Smith’s cosmopolitan economics; second, the stages of historical development of organic communities; finally, world’s balance of power among the normal nation-states who have the power of self-help. This paper concludes that the nationalist political economy of List must be the real political economy of national development because of its emphasis upon the balanced development of national community.
