부산 신항 물류창고의 ESG 경영이 기업이미지, 기업신뢰와 관계지속의도에 미치는 영향 = The Impact of ESG Management in Busan Newport Warehouses on Image, Trust, and Relationship Continuance Intention

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 항만물류산업의 ESG 경영의 필요성과 그 중요성이 증대되는 상황에서 국내 수출입 컨테이너화물 91% 이상을 처리하는 부산 신항 배후단지 내 입주한 물류창고 업체들과 관련하여 이들 업체를 대상으로 한 이용자의 의견을 수렴해서 부산 신항 물류창고의 현행 ESG 경영 실태를 파악하였다. 그리고 부산신항 물류창고의 이용자 관점에서 물류창고 업체들의 ESG 경영이 기업이미지와 기업신뢰에 미치는 영향및 기업이미지와 기업신뢰가 관계지속의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 물류창고 업체들의ESG 경영이 부산 신항 물류창고에 대한 긍정적인 기업이미지를 형성하고, 이용자들의 부산 신항 물류창고에 대한 신뢰를 재고하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 밝혀냄으로써 부산 신항 물류창고는 ESG 경영이 중요하다는 학술적 시사점을 제시하였다.

The primary objective of this study is to examine the impact of ESG management practices in Busan New Portwarehouses on image, trust, and relationship continuance intention. In response to global climate change and energydepletion concerns, the necessity for ESG management has emerged, prompting ports to shift from profit maximizationtowards sustainable ESG-oriented management. ESG management activities have recently become a crucial evaluationmetric in the port logistics industry. In Korea, air quality-related legislation has been enacted for domestic ports, and theMinistry of Oceans and Fisheries is implementing various support measures to foster an eco-friendly port logisticssector.
This study investigates the ESG management status of Busan New Port Logistics Warehouses, which handle over90% of domestic import and export container cargo. Data were collected from users of these warehouses, given theincreasing significance of ESG management in the port logistics industry.
The research analyzes the impact of ESG management on image and trust from the perspective of Busan New PortLogistics Warehouse users, as well as the subsequent effect of image and trust on relationship continuance intention.
The findings indicate that ESG management plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive image for Busan New PortLogistics Warehouses and enhancing users’ trust. This study contributes to the academic literature by highlighting theimportance of ESG management in the port logistics context.
