호주 영어 및 호주 원주민 영어의 특징 = Characteristics of Australian English and aboriginal English

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper explores the characteristics of Australian English and Aboriginal English with reference to the sound system. pronunciation. grammar. and vocabulary. After briefly explaining the historical background of Australia. this paper discusses major similarities and differences between Australian English and the Received Pronunciation. Australian English has three major varieties of Broad. General. and Cultivated. Major characteristics of Aboriginal English are also examined in comparison with British English. By exploring the major characteristics of Australian English and Aboriginal English with reference to British English. this study attempts to contribute to a better understanding of the dynamic nature of the global language. English, and to be utilized in the cross-cultural communication in a global society.
