As baby boomers begin their retirement in 2010, their leisure time has increased and their interest in satisfying leisure activities has been increasing in terms of improving their quality of life. Accordingly, this study examined the socio-demographic characteristics, leisure-related policy satisfaction, and leisure time sufficiency as factors affecting the leisure satisfaction of the baby boomers. The analysis was conducted using data from the 2016 National Leisure Activity Survey conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute. A total of 1714 baby boomers were selected among 10,602 men and women aged 15 and over who live in 17 provinces nationwide and regression analysis was conducted.
According to the results, the more male, the less female, the more leisure time they realize they have on weekdays and holidays, the more satisfactory the leisure facilities and facilities for leisure and professional staffing. These results suggest the need to expand leisure facilities and deploy professional personnel to support the baby boomers' leisure activities. In order to revitalize the leisure activity of the baby boom generation, In order to promote the leisure activities of the baby boomers, the government and local governments need to build infrastructure and the members of the community should voluntarily participate and lead them to lead the meaningful life of the baby boomers.
