융합으로 본 한국복식의 인본사상 = Humanistic Ideas of Korean Costume through Convergence

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리의 전통 복식문화에서 한국인의 人本思想을 엿볼 수 있다. ‘옷물림’이 말해주듯 옷을 개인 전유물이 아닌 ‘우리 옷’으로 인식하는 소통지향의 공동체 의식을 가졌으며, 복식을 예의를 표현하는 매체로 알고 관혼상제 같은 주요 의례가 있을 때는 반드시 품위 있게 갖춰 입고자 하였다. 흰옷이나 세시풍속에서 나타나듯이 우리는 자연의 순수를 반영하고, 신생아의 관리에서 보여주듯이 생명 탄생을 경외하는 복식문화를 향유해왔다. 복식이 갖는 활동성을 비롯한 색채나 형태 등이 창출하는 인간성의 해방, 복식의 절제된 선이 시사하는 인간미 등도 주목할 만하다.
한편 동양의 관계론적 사유에서 유로되는 우리의 融合精神을 전통 복식문화에서도 찾을 수 있다. 한국의 복식문화처럼 옷을 상호 공유하고자 하며 옷을 배려와 존중의 수단으로 인식하는 ‘인간과 인간’의 융합이 뚜렷한 경우는 흔치 않을 것이요, 계절의 변화나 생명의 경외에 부합하는 ‘인간과 자연’의 융합문화도 독특하지 않을 수 없다. 또한 우리의 경우처럼 실용성과 심미성의 조화는 물론 색채 · 선 · 형태 간의 조화에 이르는 ‘사물과 사물’의 융합적 복식문화도 쉽게 발견하기 힘들 것이다.
인간과 인간, 인간과 자연, 사물과 사물이라는 융합의 방식으로 접근하여 한국 전통복식에 내포된 인본사상을 규명하는 논의는 찾아보기 힘들었던 만큼 한국의 人本思想的 복식문화의 특징을 融合的 방법론을 통해서 살펴보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

We can get a glimpse of Koreans' ideas from our traditional costume culture. Koreans had a communication-oriented community consciousness that recognized clothes as “our clothes” rather than individual exclusive, and thought clothing as a medium for expressing courtesy and wanted to dress with dignity when there were major ceremonies. As shown in the white clothes and seasonal customs, we have enjoyed a dress culture that reflects the purity of nature and awes the birth of life, as shown in the management of newborns. In addition to the activity of dressing, the liberation of humanity created by colors and forms, and the humanity suggested by the restrained line of costume are also noteworthy. On the other hand, we can also find in traditional costumes our spirit of convergence which comes from Eastern relational thinking. Like Korean clothing culture, it is rare for “human and human” to be combined to share clothes with each other and recognize clothes as a means of consideration and respect. And the convergence culture of “human and nature” in line with the change of seasons or the awe of life is unique. In addition, as in our case, it is difficult to find not only the harmony of practicality and aesthetics, but also the convergence dress culture of “things and objects” that reaches the harmony between colors, lines, and forms. It was difficult to find a discussion on the human ideology contained in traditional Korean clothing by approaching humans and humans, humans and nature, and objects and objects. I looked at the characteristics of Korean costume culture through a methodology of convergence.
