This paper aims to extract characteristics of the spectrum of fingerprint image and to apply them to image synthesis techniques in the Spatial Frequency Domain.
In order to extract characteristics of the spectrum of the fingerprint image, We set up the subimage of 1×64 windows as processing unit and I combined the record of various lengths with the overlap and gathered the power speatrum density estimate for each combination.
The characteristics of the spectrum were applied to the re-synthesis processes of the fingerprint image and obtained the enhanced gray scale image.
