The purpose of this study is to investigate the objective and reliable affective domain of elementary physical education curriculum. For this purpose, a test group and a control group of elementary students were organized to be subject to the affective physical education programs. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1) There were found some significant differences of children`s s affective behavior before and after the implementation of the program in the test group, while there was no such difference in the control group at the level of p$lt;0.05. Such findings suggest that the program on the affective behaviors affects children`s affective behaviors. Thus, the first hypothesis there will be some difference of affective behavior between test and control groups was accepted. 2) There were found some significant differences of such affective behavior elements as positiveness, responsibility, fairness and cooperativeness at the level of p$gt;0.05. 3) However, there were found no significant differences before and after the program in both groups. Namely, the second hypothesis was rejected. Nevertheless, as a result of testing the difference for male and female subgroups of test group respectively, there was found some significant difference before and after the program. 4) There were found some significant differences of the effect of the program in male subgroups of both groups as well as their female subgroups. In conclusion, the effect of the affective physical education programs on the affective areas could be confirmed for the elementary students through this study. Such a conclusion agrees to the ideal object of the western physical education that children`s morality and affective capacity would be developed effectively by physical education. Particularly, children`s affective development must be one of the most important educational goals. Finally, it is hoped that this study would be followed up by future studies on the development of elementary children`s affective areas and that the conventional curriculum focused on the development of children`s cognitive and psychomotor areas would be replaced with a balanced curriculum covering the affective development.
