한·일 기술협력에 관한 연구-일본 퇴직기술자 유치를 중심으로- = Technological Cooperation between Korea and Japan - focusing on the deployment of retired Japanese experts -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the present study is to determine the future direction of the technological cooperation between Korea and Japan through a study of successful cases, with a focus on the deployment of retired Japanese experts. Prior to the case analysis, three characteristics of the present technology trade between the two countries were identified. First, the trade balance appears to be improving. Second, Korea’s dependency on Japan as a technology supplier is decreasing steadily. Third, Korea’s major technology exports are in the IT field, and its main imports are electronics. The case analyses of the deployment of retired Japanese experts revealed two things. First, better education has stabilized Korealizedation hasion of the and increased the competitiveness of Japanese products. Second, Korean sales may increase due to technical improvements, and Japan may see an increase in exports.
