3D 디지털 애니메이션의 사실성에 관한 비교연구 = A Comparative Study on Reality of 3D Digital Animation In Focus with 〈Happy Feet〉

국문 초록 (Abstract)

3D디지털애니메이션은 기존의 애니메이션보다 훨씬 실감나는 3차원적 깊이감과 입체감을 표현 할 수 있고 실사와 같은 극사실적인 새로운 표현효과도 기대할 수 있다. 현대의 애니메이션에서는 새로운 기술적 매채가 주도하는 상황에서 실사와 흡사한 시각적인 사실성을 추구하면서 동시에 애니메이션 특유의 동작과 과장의 재미와 함께 관객으로 하여금 현실이라 혼동할 만한 비주얼적인 재미와 더불어 현실에서는 일어날 수 없는 허구적 리얼리티의 요소들이 더해지는 애니메이션이 제작되고 있다.
본 논문에서는 시각적 사실성에 기반을 둔 3D애니메이션 “해피피트”의 연구를 통해 앞으로 국내 3D 애니메이션이 나아갈 방향에 도움이 되고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The 3D digital animation is able to express much more convincing three dimensional depth and cubic effect than the existing animations. 3D animation also makes it possible to expect new expressions such as hyper-reality which is just like the actual film. Current animations are led by new technologies which persue visual reality up to the level of actual films and at the same time features peculiar movements and exaggerations unique in animations. Such animations presenting to spectators the visual excitement which may seem just like the reality and simultaneously giving them pleasure of watching fictional reality which can never take place in real life are being produced.
This thesis aims at investigating 3D digital animation 〈Happy Feet〉 which is based on visual reality and hope to contribute to 3D animations produced in Korea.
