비행 청소년 범행 및 가치의식 조사를 통해 본 선교의 과제에 관한 연구 : 서울 소년 감별소를 중심으로 = (A) Study on the Task of Missionary Work Viewed through a Survey of the Juvenile Delinquent's Crime and Value-consciousness

국문 초록 (Abstract)

급변하는 현대사회 속에서 청소년 비행의 문제는 성인범죄를 능가하는 정도로 양적증가와 함께 질적으로는 포악화, 조직화, 지능화, 저연령화 되는 경향을 보이며, 단순화 우려의 차원을 넘어서 중요한 사회 문제의 차원으로 대두되고 있는 실정이다.
이 문제의 심각성은 정부가 「10ㆍ13 대 범죄 선전포고」에서 범죄와의 전쟁을 공식선포함으로서 그 위기 상황의 절박성이 증명되어진다.
따라서 본 논문에서는 서울소년 감별소를 선정하여 비행 청소년들의 범죄 실태와 가치의식조사를 통해 기독교인과 비기독교인의 차이점을 제시하므로서 기독교 교육 및 선교의 과제를 찾아 보았다.
이상의 연구조사에 의거하여 얻은 결과를 기초하여 다음과 같은 결론을 유출하였다.
1. 비행청소년들의 일반적 특성조사를 통해보면 학생 범죄율이 높았으며, 부모의 생존, 학력정도, 가정의 생활수준이 범행의 원인과 어느정도 상관관계를 가지고 있다고 할 수 있었다.
2. 가치관 조사를 통해보면 현대 사회가 청소년들에게 바라는 것과 청소년들이 사회에 바라는 것에 커다란 차이를 보여 현대 사회에서의 청소년 가치관 정립의 문제점을 발견하게 되었다.
3. 범죄 경험 및 죄책감 조사를 통해보면 사소한 비행에서부터 상인이 범해도 기소될만한 중한 범죄에 이르기까지 폭넓게 경험하고 있으며, 많은 비행청소년들이 죄책감을 느끼고 있었다.
4. 기독교인과 비기독교인의 비교검증에서는 가치관 조사의 5문항과 범행경험 및 죄책감 조사의 여러문항에서 유의한 차를 보였다.
5. 기독교 청소년의 비행이 늘어나고 있음을 통해 기독교 교육을 통한 비행청소년 예방책의 필요성을 인식하게 되었고, 감별소 안에서의 높은 기독교로의 개종율을 통해 비행청소년 특수 선교의 필요성 인식 및 성육신 선교를 통한 선도책을 모색하게 되었다.
본 논문은 청소년들을 위한 교회의 교육 프로그램 개발과 인간화교육 및 성육신 선교를 지향함을 통해 기독교 청소년들의 비행을 예방하고 비행을 저지른 청소년으로 하여금 특수 선교를 통해 삶의 전환을 일으키게 하는 것을 목적으로 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In the contemporary society that changes radically, the problem of juvenile delinquents shows a tendency to become outrageous, organized, intellectual and lower-aged qualitatively together with its quantitative increase to the extent that it may exceed adult crimes, and it is the circumstances that it emerges as an important social problem beyond a level of a simple matter of concern. The seriousness of this problem is well proved by the governmental step named 'Great Proclamation of War to Crimes ,Oct. 13th.' In this context, the actual criminal conditions and value consciousnesses of juvenile delinquents were observed in a chosen subject group of Seoul Juvenile Judgement House to find differences between Christians and non-Christians , and, then, to present the required tasks of Christian education and missionary work.
Conclusions were reasoned on the basis of the results from the research, as follows :
1. When viewing through an examination into the general characteristics of juvenile delinquents, the rate of students' offenses was high, and such factors as the presence of parents, level of academic background and level of family economy were somewhat correlevant with the caused of crime.
2. Viewed through an inspection of their views of value, a great difference could be seen between what the juveniles are expected by the contemporary society and what the contemporary society is expected by the juveniles, so, an issue about the right establishment of the juveniles' views of value in contemporary society could be pointed out.
3. When Looking into their criminal experiences and quality consciences, they were experiencing a wide range of crimes ,that is, from minor misconducts the serious offenses for which even adults could be prosecuted, and most of them appeared feeling senses of guilt.
4. In a comparative inspection between christians and not-christians, they showed significant differences in five questionnaire items about their views of value and in many items of the test of offense experience and quality conscience.
5. A need of preventive measures upon juvenile delinquents through Christian education was recognized through the fact that misdeeds of Christian juveniles were increasing. And the high rate of juveniles' conversion to Christianity showed a need of special evangelization of juvenile delinquents, and, also, that of stablishment of measures for proper guidance of them through spiritual evangelism. To sum up, this study has aimed to the measures to prevent
Christian juveniles' offenses and to converse juvenile delinquents into their proper lives. And, potential applicability has been paid to such points as the development of educational programs for juveniles, humanizational education, and spiritual evangelism of the church.
