The Scholiast has gone farthest astray, since he has mistaken the meaning not only of the line adverted to, but has strangely misrepresented the sense of the two verses that immediately precede it, which he paraphrases thus:-"ego de oy dynamai tayta apodexasthai, epeide me kalos tayta legeis" [Greek], and the concluding line he expounds as follows:"
