고교학점제 운영에 따른 고등학교 교사의 직무 변화 탐색: 미운영교와의 비교를 중심으로 = Exploring changes in the job performing of high school teachers following the introduction of the high school credit system: focusing on comparison with unintroduced schools

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 2025년 전면 도입을 앞둔 고교학점제를 운영하며 고등학교 교사들이 전반적으로 경험하고 있는 직무의 변화를 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 교사의 직무 관련 선행연구를 분석하여 고등학교 교사 직무 영역을 도출하였고, 각 영역에 대한 고교학점제 연구학교와 미운영교 교사의 업무 수행 정도와 인식을 조사하였다. 고교학점제 연구학교 1,053명, 미운영교 154명의 교사가 참여한 조사 자료를비교 분석한 결과, 대영역 ‘학급 경영’영역에서 미운영교 교사의 업무 비중이 높게 나타났고, 중영역 ‘학습평가’의 업무 비중은 연구학교에서, ‘학급계획 및 운영’, ‘학생관리’의 업무 비중은 미도입교에서 높게나타났다. 소영역 ‘수행평가하기’, ‘국가 및 시도교육청 정책 관련 사업 추진하기’, ‘지역사회 교육 발전에기여’ 영역의 업무 비중은 연구학교에서 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 또한 중영역 수준에서 중요도와 곤란도를 조사한 결과, ‘학습평가’, 진로 및 학업설계지도’, ‘학교교육계획, 교육과정 수립’, ‘학생 관리’, ‘학부모 협력’의 영역이 다른 영역과 비교할 때 상대적으로 곤란도와 중요도가 높은 역할로 나타났다. 이러한결과를 토대로 고교학점제 도입에 따라 행정학급에 대한 인식의 변화는 학급 운영 및 경영과 관련된 교사 역할에도 영향을 미치고, 학생 평가에 대한 부담이 증가되고 있으며, 교사의 교육과정 연구 업무 및방과후 프로그램 지도의 업무가 증가되고 있다는 것을 제시하였다. 특히 학습평가와 학생관리는 중요도와 곤란도가 상대적으로 높은 영역으로 중점적인 지원이 필요한 역할임을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the role changes experienced by high school teachers with the introduction of the high school credit system. To this end, high school teacher’s job domains were developed at three levels based on previous studies of teacher roles and tasks, and task performance and perceptions of high school teachers in high school credit system research schools and unintroduced schools were investigated. As a result of analyzing responses of 1,053 teachers in high school credit system research schools and 154 teachers in unintroduced schools, the proportion of unintroduced teachers’ work was high in the broad area of class management at the first level. At the second level, the proportion of learning evaluation was high in research schools, and the proportion of class planning and operation and student management was high in unintroduced schools. At the third level, the proportion of performance evaluation, promotion of projects related to national and provincial offices of education, and contribution to the development of community education was significantly higher in research schools. In addition, because of analyzing responses of importance and degree of difficulty at the second level, learning assessment, career and curriculum design guidance, school education planning and curriculum establishment, student management, and parent cooperation were found to be relatively important and difficult compared to other areas. Based on these results, it was suggested that the change in perception of administrative class following the introduction of the high school credit system affects the teacher’s role in this regard; and the burden of student evaluation, such as guaranteeing the minimum achievement level, curriculum research work, and after-school program guidance, is increasing. Learning assessment and student management are areas of relatively high importance and difficulty, suggesting that they are roles that require intensive support.
