해외 한국 문화교육 커리큘럼과 강의 방식에 대한 연구-라 사피엔자 대학의 한국학 전공을 중심으로- = A study on cultural education curriculum and teaching methods in overseas Korean studies majors-Focusing on the Korean studies major at La Sapienza University-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 방문교수 경험을 바탕으로 로마 사피엔자 대학교 한국학 전공의 커리큘럼과 문화교육, 각종의 비교과 활동을 분석하면서 해외 한국학의 현황 파악과 발전적 제언을 하고자 시도되었다.
논의의 방향은 그들의 커리큘럼을 점검하고, 학생들에게 설문을 실시하여 그들이 문화 교육의 범주와 학제 측면에서 어떤 생각들을 하는지 조사한 결과, 그리고 방문교수로서 체험한 강의와 각종의 지원 사업으로 인한 비교과 활동의 의의를 점검하는 데 두었다.
결과적으로, 해외 한국학이 처해있는 현실로서 전문 강의 교원의 부족과 재정적 여력이라는 측면이 커리큘럼 구성에도 영향을 미치고 있지만 그것을 해소하기 위한 방안으로 각종의 지원 사업과 비교과 활동이 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 볼 수 있었다. 이에 기반하여 한국 내에서 해외 한국학에 지원할 수 있는 방안은 각종의 재정적 지원 사업을 확충하고, 한국 문학의 번역 사업이나, 영문 교재, 나아가 현지어로 된 교재의 출간 등에서 실질적인 도움을 주어야한다는 것이다. 이러한 제언적 결론은 해외 한국학을 현장에서 경험한 연구자들이 이미 내린 결론이기도 하지만, 이 연구는 그러한 과정이 로마 사피엔자 대학과 같은 현장에서 어떻게 작동하고 있는지를 보았다는 데 의의를 둘 수 있겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Based on the experience of visiting professors, this study was attempted to identify the current status of overseas Korean studies and make developmental suggestions by analyzing the curriculum, cultural education, and various comparative activities of the Korean Studies major at Sapienza University in Rome.
The direction of the discussion was to examine their curriculum, conduct a survey of students to examine their thoughts in terms of the category and interdisciplinary system of cultural education, and to examine the significance of comparisons and activities due to lectures experienced as visiting professors and various support projects.
As a result, the lack of professional lecture teachers and financial capacity are affecting the curriculum composition as a reality of overseas Korean studies, but various support projects and comparison and activities are playing an important role as a way to solve them. Based on this, the plan to apply for overseas Korean studies in Korea is to expand various financial support projects and provide practical help in translating Korean literature, publishing English textbooks, and even local textbooks. Researchers who have already experienced overseas Korean studies have already concluded this suggestive conclusion, but this study can be meaningful in looking at how such a process works in the field such as the Sapienza University of Rome.
