YiYi (known as the pen name of YulGok, 1534-84) and TyoeGye (1501-1570) have been famous for their unique philosophy in the world. YiYi has been known for his filial piety from early years of his life to his senescence. The essence of a filial piety is the royal spirit to the King and YulGok made a book titled `SungHakGypYo` which intended to help the King SunZo to become a philosophical ruler in September, SunZo 9th year. According to the book, a person should have a right idea of family because it helps a person to have a good family leading to a good politician. Thus the right idea of family is important for a nation to be globalized. The emphasis of a right idea of family should be put on a filial piety. Family of today`s society has been disordered and national ideology has been disorganized with the introduction of western style education. Current society could be peaceful through harmony of Eastern and Western philosophy for human coexistence. YulGok`s philosophy of filial piety is a perfect tool for the society`s task to become a right one because it has inherent firm family ideology, body ideology, national ideology, and world ideology. The purpose of the study is to prove YulGok`s philosophy of filial piety could create the atmosphere of a culture of filial piety leading the nation as a leading moral suzerain in the world.
