예수의 정체성에 대한 고찰 -3대 일신교에서 바라본 예수 = A Study on the Identity of Jesus Christ -with Special Reflection from the Big Three Monotheismb

국문 초록 (Abstract)

예수는 하나님의 아들인가 아니면 여러 예언자 가운데 하나인가? 본고에서는 기독교와 유대교, 이슬람교 등 세계의 3대 일신교에서 그를 어떻게 바라보고 있는가에 대해 고찰하고자 하였다. 먼저 기독교에서 바라보는 예수란 하나님의 아들이자 메시아이다. 그는 백성의 죄를 하나님 앞에 낱낱이 아뢰어 죄 사함을 받게 하는 구원자이다. 이러한 성격규명은 `주는 그리스도시오 살아계신 하나님의 아들`이라고 하는 베드로의 고백 속에 잘 드러나 있다. 그러나 유대교에서의 예수는 이단의 괴수일 뿐이다. 본래 유대교와 기독교는 아브라함이라고 하는 공통된 조상을 갖고 있으며, 또한 한 지역에 그 뿌리를 두고 있다. 예수 역시 유대인의 신분으로 태어났다. 그럼에도 불구하고 유대교에서는 예수를 구세주로 인정하지 않고 있다. 오직 하나의 신을 믿는 유대교의 입장에서 삼위일체설 같은 것은 수용할 수 없었다. 그런 면에서 보면 예수는 하나님을 참칭함으로써 신성 모독죄를 범하는 셈이 된다. 이슬람교에서 보는 예수의 위치는 유대교와 기독교의 중간에 있다고 말할 수 있다. 유대인들은 예수를 거짓말쟁이쯤으로 비하한 데 비하여, 기독교에서는 그를 하나님의 아들로 받아들인다. 이에 대해 이슬람교에서는 예수를 신이 보낸 여러 명의 예언자 가운데 한 사람으로 간주한다. 예수는 하나님의 영, 즉 성령으로 잉태되었다. 그러나 `사람의 아들`일 뿐, 하나님의 아들은 아니다. 메시야(구세주)이긴 하나, 한 인간일 뿐이다. 예수는 이 땅에서, 인간적인 수준에서 자기의 역할을 수행했을 뿐, 부활이라거나 승천이라거나 하는 것과는 또 거리가 있다. 이슬람교에서는 유대교를 예수 그리스도가 나타나기 전의 이슬람으로 간주하며, 기독교 역시 마호메트가 신으로부터 계시를 받기 이전까지의 이슬람이었다고 생각한다. 그리고 이슬람교에서는 성령 외의 사건들, 예컨대 십자가 사건, 부활과 승천 사건들을 부인함으로써 예수로부터 구세주로서의 성격을 박탈하고 있다. 오늘날 세계 여러 곳에서, 여러 가지 문제로 분쟁이 끊이질 않는다. 그리고 그 분쟁의 한가운데에 종교문제가 도사리고 있다면 각 종교 사이의 대화가 필요한 시점이 아닐까 여겨진다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Is Jesus the one of four sages of old or the son of God? The purpose of this study is to explore how the Big Three Monotheism (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam) explain the identity of Jesus. First of all, Jesus in Christianity is a Messiah who is the provider fulfilling the need of the poverty, and the Almighty man who makes everything come true. He is the way, the truth and the life. The second, Jesus in Judaism is no more than the boss of heresy. Jesus was born as a Jew. Nevertheless the most of the Jew hesitated to admit him as a Messiah. They thought Jesus as a man of arrogating the God and a man of profaning the sanctity. The third, the position of Jesus in the religion of Islam is in the middle of Christianity and Judaism. In Islam Jesus was regarded as the one of a prophet dispatched by God. Jesus was conceived by the holly sprit. However, he was not the sons of God, but merely the son of human being. In Islam, Moses, Jesus, and Mahomet are all the faithful servants of God. The adherents of Islam considered Judaism as the Islam of the before Christ. They also regarded the Christianity as the Islam who was Mahomet in the status of pre-getting a revelation of God. The religion of Islam was reluctant to admit all events happened except the event of holly spirit. Accordingly, for the believers of Islam, Jesus is not a Messiah. Various conflicts and troubles are incessantly happened throughout the world. All the people expect the sprit of love of humanity to make harmony. It is the right time for each religion to find the way of win-win by the mutual understanding and spirit of coexistence.
