미사전례 안에서의 성가의 즉흥연주(J.S.Bach의 오르간 코랄형식에 의한) = Improvisation of Choral during Mass(by organ choral formation by J.S. Bach)

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Improvisation was grown up in the history of western music, which resulted in a variety of musical formation and development for many works.
Initially, choral was monophonic texture, which didn't have fixed accompaniment. Therefore, organists performed improvisation during mass and it was generalized. They improvised through new attempts based on contemporary musical formation. Accordingly, improvisation was taught to organists as an important part, which is continued until now.
As Catholicism was settled down in Korea, there has been big improvement in Korean church music. Many sorts of choral like Catholic choral, Gugak choral, authentic choral were generated and developed. Among them, Catholic choral generally used for mass gradually developed and now 4 voicing was settled down.
This study was intended to understand improvisation, which developed in the history of church music and suggest improvision of choral to be used for mass, focusing on organ choral formation by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750).
The paper generally classified the formations of choral into those which can be used during mass and those which can be played before or after mass. In addition, accompaniment and introduction of choral were suggested for organists to play them for mass. Organists should always make efforts for mass and play new and progressed accompaniment. Furthermore, it is expected that rituals can be more bountiful as organ improvisation is used for mass.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

즉흥연주는 서양음악사속에서 성장 하였다. 그 결과 많은 음악형식이 나타나고 발전하면서 여러 곡이 남겨졌다.
처음에 성가는 정해진 반주 없이 단선율 이었다. 이에 오르가니스트들이 미사 중에 즉흥연주를 함으로서 즉흥연주는 통상화 되었다. 그들은 그 시대의 음악형식을 바탕으로 또는 새로운 시도를 통해 즉흥연주를 하였다. 따라서 오르가니스트들에게 즉흥연주는 중요한 부분으로 교육되었고 지금까지 이어지고 있다.
한국에 천주교가 정착하면서 우리의 교회음악도 많은 발전을 하였다. 가톨릭성가, 국악성가, 생활성가등 여러 장르의 성가들이 생겨나고 발전하고 있다. 그중 대표적으로 미사에 사용되는 가톨릭성가는 점차 발전되어 4성부로 정착되었다.
본 논문에서는 교회음악 역사 속에서 나타나고 발전되어온 즉흥연주를 알아보고, 그중 바흐(Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685～1750)의 오르간 코랄형식을 중심으로 미사에 사용할 수 있는 성가의 즉흥연주를 만들어 제시한다.
본 논문에서는 크게 미사 중 사용할 수 있는 형식과 미사 전·후로 사용할 수 있는 형식으로 나누어 보았다. 또한 성가의 반주와 전주의 실제를 제시하여 오르가니스트들이 직접 미사에 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 이에 오르가니스트들은 미사를 위해 항상 노력해야하며 새롭고 발전된 성가의 반주를 연주할 수 있어야 한다. 더 나아가 오르간 즉흥연주가 미사 안에서 사용됨으로서 전례가 더욱 풍요로워지기를 바라는 바이다.
