임진왜란 시기 降倭의 留置와 활용 = Enticement and Practical use of Japanese Soldiers who Surrendered during the Imjin-waeran(1592~1598)

We have reviewed practical use of Japanese soldiers who surrendered by Government of Chosun dynasty in the Army and Navy.
In army, Japanese soldiers who surrendered were used in production of Iron Canon, inheritance of military strategy, and they also took part in the border guard, suppressing the rebel-lion, searching imformation, and combat.
In navy, Government of Chosun made use of Japanese soldiers who surrendered as artilleryman of rower in warship, forced labor in workplace, and a farm soldier during the Imjin-waeran(the first Japanese invasion), and during the Jungyu-jaeran(the second Japanese Invasion), Japanese soldiers who surrendered were put into the real battle with the Japanese Navy, we can find this in naval warfare Gimoonpo, and Myungryang.
In brief, we can find many problems in dealing with Japanese soldiers who surrendered, but they played various roles in the Army and Navy, and contribute to overcome national crisis.
