      Virtual reality (VR) technology has been rapidly developed and applied to many aspects of human life, and the building industry is no exception. First, we summarize the working principles of Open Graphics Library (OpenGL) and analyze the characteristi...

      Virtual reality (VR) technology has been rapidly developed and applied to many aspects of human life, and the building industry is no exception. First, we summarize the working principles of Open Graphics Library (OpenGL) and analyze the characteristics of VR data from the standpoint of the characteristics of buildings. Second, we propose a key technology to combine VR data with relevant software. Finally, we discuss how to present a good exhibition to users, and how to improve the use of VR systems in building design.
