초등학교 고학년 아동의 성의식 조사 : 대전광역시내 초등학생을 중심으로 = (A) study on sexual consciousness of senior student in primary school at Tae Jon

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to survey Sexual Consciousness and to afford objective data for presenting Sex Education in Primary School.
The subject of this study was fifth and sixth grade students in primary school in Taejon. And eight hundred and fifty seven students were selected by stratified sampling.
The data were gathered through questionaires, and the SAS program was used to analyze these data.
The results are as follows :
① Many physical and physiological changes occur to high grade students in primary schools
② Students know well about the pregnancy, the wet dream, and the menstruation. However, they do not know about masturbation and from what body part a baby is born.
③ Many students have experienced sex education, and they are wondering the most how spermatozoon and a ovum meet.
④ Many students are exposed to pornography, obscene video tapes and books, filthy chatting and games through computers. They usually do those things with friends at their friend's homes.
⑤ Many students think that the friendship between boys and girls are good.
And more than half of students has friends of the opposite sex.
Therefore, it is mecessary to develop systematic sex education programs for elementary school stydents and to offer those programs to students in their early ages for helping students team the proper knowledge on sex and develop the sound sex morals.
