대중 골프장의 개발요소가 수익성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 = A Study on Impacts of Development Factors on Returns of a Public Golf Course

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Despite recent ease of public regulations on development of golf courses, the supply of new public golf courses can not meet the increasing demand. Therefore, this study aims to analyze how developmental factors determine the profitability of the public golf courses. Using the nationwide data of 41 public golf courses except those in Jeju-do, this study examines 1) the regional differences of ROI with ANOVA, 2) the difference of ROI depending upon the types of operation through T-test, and 3) the developmental factors` influence on ROI by multiple regression analysis. As a result, these analyses show that there is no statistically significant difference in ROI either by regional differences or by types of operation. However, regression analysis of ROI with the developmental factors of golf course as an independent variable, the number of holes, the length of driving range per hole, and the installation of night lighting facilities show positive (+) effect on ROI. On the other hand, the area of developed land per hole shows negstive(-) effect on ROI. These results are expected to be utilized as a basic information for successful development of public golf courses.
