Observation on the appearance of endometrium was made in 64 cases of the ectopic pregnancy, which had been treated at the Seoul Red Cross Hospital during 12 months(Aug. 1965-July 1966). 43 cases in the series were follow-up checked for period of 6 weeks with interval post-operatively. The results were as following; 1)In this series, Positive decidual reaction was observed in 26 Cases(40.9%), Among these 26 cases, Arias-Slella reaction appeared in 6 cases. 2)In this series, no co-relation between duration of uterine bleeding and decidual reaction was noticed. The decidual reaction was, however, found with the higher frequency in those with no genital bleeding than those with genital bleeding. and then, decidual reaction was found more frequently in those having. gastation 7 weeks or longer in comparison with those having gestation of 6 weeks or shorter. 3)Apositive Arias-Stella reaction was found in 14 cases cases(21.9%) 8(12.5%) of those were found among those without decidual reaction. 4)Author found no evidence of co-relation between duration of uterine bleeding and arias-Stella reaction. Arias-Stella reaction was, however, found more frequently among those having gestation of 7 weeks or longer in comparision with those having gestation of 6 weeks or shorter. 5)In the post-operative endometral finding. the secretory phase began to appear in the 3rd week. Following the Surgery, the first menstruation was naovulatory menstruation in 60.0% of the series.
