‘신학은 학문이 아니다’(神學非學)의 관점에서 본 ‘하나님저자’ 중심의 성경해석학 = ‘God as Author’- Centered Hermeneutics from the Perspective of ‘Theology Is Not an Academic Discipline’

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문의 목적은 장종현박사의 선언인 ‘신학은 학문이 아니다(신학비학)’의 관점에서 ‘하나님저자’ 중심의 신학비학적 성경해석학의 가능성을 탐구하는 것이다. 이 글은 기존 성경해석학을 하나님저자를 부인하거나 주저하여 영적 생명을 낳기에 적절하지 못한 것으로 비판하고, ‘하나님저자’ 중심의 신학비학적 성경해석학의 이론적 모델을 제안하였다. 신학비학적 성경해석은 성경해석학의 근본 문제가 ‘방법론’이 아니라 ‘해석 전제’임을 분명히 하며, ‘하나님저자에 대한 신앙’을 성경해석의 전제로 제안한다. 신학비학적 성경해석학은 종교개혁 이래로 교회가 지켜온 ‘그리스도와 성령 중심의 성경해석’이라는 해석학적 전통을 포스트모던 시대에도 적절하다고 인정하고 지지한다. 신학비학적 성경해석의 강조점은 우선적으로 인간의 영적생명을 살리는 해석이며, 동시에 지금 위기에 처해서 신음하는 하나님의 피조 세계를 살리는 해석이다.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the possibility of a ‘God-Author’-centered biblical hermeneutics from the perspective of Dr. Jang Jong-Hyun’s declaration that ‘Theology is not an Academic Discipline(TNAD)’. This article criticizes existing biblical hermeneutics for denying or hesitating to acknowledge God as the Author, deeming them unsuitable for generating spiritual life. It then proposes a theoretical model for a TNAD biblical hermeneutics centered on ‘God as the Author.’ TNAD biblical interpretation clarifies that the fundamental problem in biblical hermeneutics is not ‘methodology’ but the ‘hermeneutical presupposition,’ and it proposes ‘faith in the God-Author’ as the essential presupposition for interpreting the Bible. TNAD biblical hermeneutics acknowledges and supports the hermeneutical tradition of ‘Christ- and Spirit-centered biblical interpretation,’ which the Church has maintained since the Reformation, as still appropriate in the postmodern era. The primary emphasis of this TNAD biblical hermeneutics approach is an interpretation that, first and foremost, gives spiritual life to the humanity and simultaneously an interpretation that revitalizes God’s groaning creation currently in crisis.
