In this paper, we try to verify whether drinking frequency can be used as a proxy variable of social networking abilities to explain personal wage differential by using 11th year data of KLIPS. We use two econometrics models in this study; One is OLS model and the other is simultaneous model. The result of empirical analysis shows that increasement of drinking frequency can affect to personal wage positively. In simple regression and OLS model we can observe significant estimates. In simultaneous model the results are also significant with total and female sample, but with male sample the estimate is observed insignificantly. Considering the indispensability of drinking in real social life, this result can imply drinking frequency can reflect the competence of personal relationship in some degree.
