The purpose of this study is at grasping the hysteretic behavior and other various phenomena from the experimental results of equal leg angle and pipe, and also at presenting the fundamental data needed for seismic structural design. In this paper, the effects of slenderness ratio and loading pattern on the restoring characteristics of member are investigated from the experimental results of experiment specimens such as these. Also, the curtail of buckling load by the infliction of cyclic load reversals and variation of energy dissipation efficiency corresponding to the slenderness ratio are investigated.
