      The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between perceived dimensions of the learning organization and workplace learner competencies of large corporate employees in Korea. The population of the study was comprised of 613 employees of 19 companies from a list of 1000th companies by the Korea chamber of commerce and industry, and the purposeful sampling technique was used for this study. Data was collected by mail and e-mail, 230 out of 613 questionnaires were used for the analysis (a valid return rate of 37.52%).
      The major findings of this study were as follows:First, the perceived levels of dimensions of the learning organization of employees in large corporations were found to be theoretically on the average. Particularly, the dimensions of people level, including continuous learning, dialogue and inquiry, team learning, and empowerment, were lower than the dimensions of structure level such as system connection, embedded systems, and providing leadership.
      Second, all variables of the dimensions of the learning organizations had significant relationships with the workplace learner competencies. Moreover, the workplace learner competencies were explained by empowerment and team learning in order.
      Third, all variables of dimensions of the learning organizations had significant relationships with the workplace learners' role competencies. According to the workplace learner competencies by roles, significant predictors were differentiated though.
      Based on the results of this study, some recommendations for future research were made as follows: First, further research is needed to develop the competency scales of workplace learners for measuring the objective level of competencies. Second, the construction of dimensions of the learning organization, and the relationship between the construction and the workplace learner competencies should be investigated.
