As the trend of ‘malling’ begins to spread socially due to the improvement of income levels and changes in consumer perceptions of commercial facility utilization, mixed-use commercial facilities aimed at revitalizing the local economy and diversifying urban culture are increasingly emphasized in modern urban development. In particular, mixed-use commercial facilities combining entertainment elements have the potential to enhance market competitiveness and activate the local economy by providing consumers with various activities and experiences. This study aims to explore the characteristics and design considerations of entertainment-oriented mixed-use commercial facilities, focusing on spatial composition and architectural planning aspects, to revitalize declining or neglected commercial areas.
