Heidegger and Laotzu: the echt meaning of the ‘and’

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Heidegger expressed his particular interest in Laotzu in several places and even attempted to translate Tao-Te-King into German. After Xiao shiyi's report about that work and Otto Pöggeler's paper that argued this issue, "Heidegger and Laotze" became a philosophical theme that attracted the attention of many researchers around the world. This paper provides an overview of those concerns and the whole research accomplishments at a glance, and, through thorough text analysis, the true philosophical meaning of the comparison of these two philosophers as well. The key point is that the two of them share the same problem itself, the phenomenon itself, from the different perspectives.
