In the strong wave of political issue of international sports in the seventies sports in Korea has faced a new aspect in Competig with North Korea in a number of international games, whereas we have taken diplomatic course againstsports of a communist camp. According to this stream competition of national power became intensely severe, and a Korean nation s concerns about sports reached the climax more and more.
It can't be denied that basketball in Korea has inferiority in physique, physical power, and especiallyin height. As it is an urgent problem that Korean basketball should conquer handicap of height and Korean characteristios should be developed.
It is assumed under this premise that we should find out how the important factors of success and failure will appear in the real games, and it is a way of restoration in the basketball to develop and encourage these facts, and accordingly the result that I investigated most of the college basketball teams in our country indicate that success or faijure in the basketball game depends on ratings of shooting, speed rebound, intercept, and free throw of the player.
