독일어 문장 이해를 위한 부가어 학습 모형: 독일어 관계문을 중심으로 = A Study on a Learning Model of German Attribute for Reading German Sentences Focused on the German Relative Clause

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 외국인 학습자들이 독일어 문장을 읽을 때 흔히 겪는 어려움과 그 원인을 현대 독일어 글말이 가지는 특징 중의 하나인 부가어의 사용을 중심으로 살펴보고, 이에 대해 교수법적으로 접근하여 독일 어 문장을 효과적으로 이해하기 위한 학습 모형을 제안하였다. 독일어 부가어의 일반적으로 분포적 관점에 따라 선행부가어, 후행부가어, 분리부가어로 분류된다. 그 증에서 2격 부가어, 전치사 부가어, 부가어문은 현대 독일어 글말에 빈번하게 등장하며, 독일어 문장 이해에서 외국인 학습자들이 어려움을 느끼는 부분이다. 부가어가 포함된 문장에서 하나의 표층구조가 두 개 이상의 심층구조를 가지는 경우 중의성이 야기된다． 2격 부가어와 선행하는 핵명사의 다양한 의미관계, 전치사 부가어의 다양한 역할(형용사척 부사적 역할), 관계문이 취할 수 있는 두 개 이상의 선행사 및 관계문의 유형 (제한적 비제한적 관계문) 은 중의성의 대표적인 원인이다. 따라서 교사가 아 사항들을 고려하여 부가어의 형태 및 기능적 측면과 의미적 측면을 함께 다루국 신문 기사와 같이 홍마았고 정보제공의 측면에서도 유용한 학습자료를 선별하여 수압에 활용한다면, 학습자들이 독일어 문장을 더욱 효과적으로 이해할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다． 본고에서는 중급수준의 학습자를 대상으로 독일어 관계문의 학습 모형을 형태 및 기능중심 모형과중의적 의미 중심 모형으로 나누어 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to observe the difficulty which foreign learners usually feel when readng German sentences, focused on the characteristics of modem German (=the usage of attribute) written texts, and the main cuase of it from teaching methods, and suggest an effective model of learning German attribute for Reading German sentences. German attribute are generally classified as the leading attribute, the accompanying attribute and the seperated attribute according to their distribution. Among them, posessive attribute, prepositional attribite and atthbutsatze (sentences with attribute) frequently appear on the German written texts and many foreign learners feel difficulty of them. When the sentences with attribute have one surface structure, but two deep structures, learners have trouble understanding sentences because of their ambiguity. Many relations of meaning between the posessive attribute and their leading nouns, the adjective adverbial function of the prepositional attribute, and potential antecedents of the relative clause and restrictive non--restrictive clause are the main causes of ambiguity. Therefore, teachers should select the materials (e.g., newspaper articles) in which learners are interested and from which they obtain useful information and make good use of them in the classroom. For this, a learning model of relative clauses is introduced for the intermediate learners. One is focused on the form and the funtion of the relative clause and the other is on ambiguous meaning.
