『사제성소의 선물』에서 말하는 사제 양성의 기초와 여정 = The Foundations and the Journey of Priestly Formation in The Gift of the Priestly Vocation

This study examined the basis, contents, methods, and journey of Priestly Formation through comparative analysis of the two ‘Ratio Fundamentalis Institutionis Sacerdotalis’(Pastores dabo vobis in 1992 and The Gift of the priestly vocation in 2016). The basis and purpose of Priestly Formation cannot be changed(Priestly Identity), but the time has passed and the subject of Formation has also changed. Therefore the changed content and method for them are necessary. In the past, the values ​​of priestly cultivation were made in a uniform and group-oriented manner at the institutional level, but in the present, internalizing and integrating journey for interior life is important and special methods to understand the individual circumstance of the seminarians are required. Through the concept of ‘accompaniment’ emphasized by Pope Francis, The Gift of the priestly vocation mentioned the necessity of personal and community’s accompaniment. Lastly, we looked at process of Priestly Formation and examined the points to underline in this present document.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사제양성의 기본지침인 두 문헌 1992년 『현대 사제 양성』과 2016년 『사제성소의 선물』의 비교분석을 통해 변화된 사제양성의 기초와 내용, 방법, 그리고 그 여정을 살펴본다. 사제양성의 기초와 목적은 변화될 수 없지만, 시대가 변하고 양성의 대상도 변하였고, 그에 맞는 사제양성의 내용과 방법이 필요하다. 특히 과거 제도적 차원에서 집단 위주로, 획일적인 방식으로 이루어진 사제양성인 반면, 현재 내적 여정의 중요성이 강조되며 신학생들의 개별적인 상황을 이해하기 위한 특별한 방법이 요구된다. 문헌은 교황 프란치스코가 강조한 개념인 ‘동반’을 사제양성의 키워드로 설정하고 신학생들에게도 개인 동반, 공동체 동반의 필요성을 강조한다. 마지막으로 『사제성소의 선물』이 말하는 사제양성의 여정을 살펴보며 과거 지침과 차이점을 밝히고 무엇이 강조되고 있는지 살펴보았다.
