The audible acoustic waves are one of the usual stimulations in our lives. This study focused on the effect of the audible acoustic wave on the cell proliferation. To generate sound waves, we made audible acoustic wave generator using Arduino and a digital amplifier module. 261.626 Hz, 70 dB of sound wave was generated, and the cells were exposed to the audible acoustic wave for 48 hours with the cycle that 10 minutes of stimulation after 50 minutes rest. Cell proliferation was quantitatively analyzed using image analysis through nuclear staining. As a result, cell proliferation was improved by 10.5% compared to the group without stimulation. This study confirmed the possibility of audible acoustic wave as a cellular stimulus and can be applied to cells closely related to hearing in the future.
