대학생의 이성관계에서 거부민감성, 사회불안, 자기노출이 친밀감에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Rejection Sensitivity, Social Anxiety and Self-Disclosure on Intimacy in the Romantic Relationships among College Students

The current study examined the effects of rejection sensitivity, social anxiety and self-disclosure on intimacy in the romantic relationships. One hundred ninety seven college students participated in this study. We found that rejection sensitivity and social anxiety were negatively correlated with self-disclosure and intimacy, and self-disclosure was positively correlated with intimacy. The results also indicated that the effect of rejection sensitivity on intimacy in the romantic relationships was fully mediated by self-disclosure, and the influence of social anxiety on intimacy in the romantic relationships was fully mediated by self-disclosure as well. It suggests that the internal avoiding motive of rejection sensitivity and social anxiety influence self-disclosure, which leads to intimacy in the romantic relationships. The implications of this study on research, theory, and practice are discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 이성관계에서 거부민감성과 사회불안이 친밀감에 미치는 영향에 있어서 자기노출의 매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 197명을 대상으로 거부민감성, 사회불안, 자기노출, 그리고 친밀감을 측정하는 척도에 응답하게 하였으며, 매개모형 검증을 위해 구조방정식을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 거부민감성과 사회불안은 자기노출 및 친밀감과 부적으로 유의한 관계가 있었으며, 자기노출은 친밀감과 정적으로 유의한 관계가 있었다. 둘째, 거부민감성은 자기노출의 완전매개를 통해 친밀감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회불안 역시 자기노출의 완전매개를 통해 친밀감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 거부민감성과 사회불안이라는 내적 회피동기가 자기노출에 영향을 미치며, 자기노출은 다시 친밀감에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다.
