I would like to prove Korean alphabet's structural excellencies by comparative experiments among Korean, English, and Chinese alphabets. I measured speed and accuracy of perception of each alphabet by varying distance between people and letters and by changing its width and length. As the result of the experiments, Korean characters' length is shorter than Chinese's in same square. Moreover, Korean characters are more percept than Chinese characters even if Korean alphabet was far away from experimental subject more than Chinese alphabet. This shows that Korean alphabet is relatively simpler in terms of character formation so that it would be more easily recognizable. As another result of comparative experiments with English character, Korean alphabet would be proved to occupy smaller space than English to represent the same information given to the subjects because Korean Alphabet use the orthography of 'Compose syllabic units'. The experiments would prove that Korean alphabet is also easier to recognize than English alphabet.
