The art education in the 21st century needs the active acceptance of visual ways according to the changes in the history of civilization, such as industrial design as well as advertisements, films, cartoons, videos and computer vision. Nowadays, the sensibility of visual culture is required to have a right understanding of the environment flooded with the visual cultures as well as to choose and use quality cultural culture. Even though countless visual cultures with value-free and immoral contents are approaching us, we are accepting visual cultures without any critical judgement and our sentiment is severely affected by the cultures. Thus, a new opportunity to learn the visual culture should be provided so that the art education complies with the change and development of social and cultural environment and satisfies students who live these days and in the near future as the art education is fitted with their patterns of acceptance of culture as well as their consciousness
In comtemporary society, 'Visual Culture' requires right choices and acceptance amid the plethora of information, This can be possible through education. Accordingly, art education is more necessary for appreciation education through criticism learning in the process that learners are developing the actively-expanded ideas. Up to now, art appreciation education has been developed as the program of the DBAE but the new visual culture involves a range of problems, requiring the necessity for appreciation education guidance. Thus, this research thesis aims to search the potential appreciation education through criticism learning by seeking ways for appreciation on animation, film and musical among learners' daily life-based visual cultural media. This research thesis has made reviews on theoretical grounds of the concepts and traits of 'Visual Culture' through literary studies. and this thesis has mentioned the problems from the ongoing criticism learning, and punctuated the necessity for art appreciation education in visual culture learning. and this thesis has presented learning guidance by analyzing and applying the criticism learning of appreciation learning
Most of all, it is a pressing task to make the further research on attitudes right for acception others' opinions, alton with research on learning to view and criticize era and culture in the sound and constructive light.
As this research is limited to just literary one, it is needed to test and apply the educational purpose effect into the real field.
