다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)
Korea's marine equipment industry has been growing along with shipbuilding industry since early 1980s. A shipbuilding's journal predicts that major shipbuilding industry would shift from Korea to China or South-East Asia in the near future. Additionally, e-navigation is about to get geared in real world, which was specifically noted by IMO(International Maritime Organization). In order to appropriately adapt to rapid changes in the environments, not only industrial sector should be changed accordingly but also public sector should set up proper measures and academic sector should spur the research and development of new technologies. In this paper, domestic and foreign marine equipment industry trends are briefly mentioned, and research and development efforts in the SHINDONG DIGITECH CO., LTD are introduced.
