국문 초록 (Abstract)

아리시마 다케오의 소설 “돌에 짓밟힌 잡초”는 등장인물 주인공 A, 아내 M코, 친구 B로를 통해 파탄으로부터 자유로울 수 없는 인간의 모습을 보여주고 있다. 작품 결말에서 세 등장인물은 모두 파탄에 이르는 것으로 끝을 맺고 있다. 왜 그들은 파탄에 이르게 된 것일까? 그들을 파탄에 이르게 한 원인은 무엇인가? 본고에서는 작품분석을 중심으로 그 원인에 대해 추적하고, 작가가 본 작품을 통해 의도하고자 한 바에 대하여 고찰하였다. 이를 위해 우선 원인으로서 M코와 친구 B의 부정하기 그지없는 불륜관계를 상정하였다. 이는 소위 사회적인 관점에서 바라본 비판으로 파탄을 초래할 수밖에 없는 길이었다 하지 않을 수 없다. 또한 본고는 이 둘의 관계에 더하여 M코의 창부적인 성격과 그러한 M코에 대한 A의 ‘불신’이라는 도식을 관계를 추가하여 이 두 등장인물의 관계에 대해서도 고찰하였다. 이는 M코를 중심으로 친구 B와 A라는 인물의 역동적인 관계 속에 세 등장인물을 자리매김함으로써 파탄의 원인에 대한 입체적인 조명이 가능하였다. 즉, A의 M코에 대한 사랑은 A의 ‘질투’와 ‘알 수 없는 경쟁심’에 대한 ‘집착’ 그리고 ‘쟁취에 대한 만족’을 위해 A가 선택한 ’사랑‘의 방식이었다. 이는 평소 ’사랑‘과 ’위선‘의 관계에 대해 날카로운 시선을 유지하던 작가 아리시마 다케오가 세 등장인물을 통해 ’사랑‘과 ’위선‘의 관계를 보여주는 것으로, A의 M코에 대한 사랑의 방식 역시 또 다른 ’사랑‘이라는 것을 제시하고자 한 작품이라고 볼 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Chief character A in "The weed which was pushed to a stone", the M of the wife, B, nobody of the friend are free from a level of the failure. I taste a fruit of the all failure after all. Did, and have all of them tasted a fruit of the failure? It is this article that considered while squeezing a focus what it is that an author intended through this work while pursuing the cause whether the cause that let all of them fall into failure would be where. At first the causes will include the illicit relations that are extreme in unchastity with M child and B. It is decided that this is criticized seeing from so-called social point of view, and, as for inviting it, there can be a way by failure. However, I stretched out consideration in <distrust> of A to title the prostitute-like place of the M to such M without perching on this by the main subject. Particularly, A flowed into it, and, as well as prostitute characteristics of M and unchastity and the M with B, it investigated the viewpoint about a cause of the failure to the person that it was said. The love for the M of A was for "jealousy" of A oneself and "deep attachment" to "mysterious emulousness" and "satisfaction of the greed for struggle", and it was found that it was "the love" that A chose through the main subject then. In other words, I clarified that it included "love" of transformed A that it was thought as another cause of the failure with this work through this report.
