유아교사의 놀이성, 교수창의성, 놀이교수효능감 및 놀이지원역량 간의 구조적 관계 = The effect of early childhood teachers’ playfulness on play support competence: Mediating effect of teaching creativity and play teaching efficacy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아교육기관에서 근무하고 있는 유아교사를 대상으로 놀이성, 교수창의성, 놀이교수효능감, 놀이지원역량의 각 변인들의 관계를 살펴보고 유아교사의 놀이성이 놀이지원역량에 미치는 영향에서 유아교사의 교수창의성과 놀이교수효능감의 매개효과를 알아보기 위함이다. 이를 위해 G시와 J도의 유아교육기관에 근무하고 있는 담임교사와 누리보조교사, 유아의 방과 후 과정을 담당하고 있는 유아교사 661명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 연구결과 유아교사의 놀이성, 교수창의성, 놀이교수효능감이 유아교사의 놀이지원역량에 유의한 영향을 미치며 유아교사의 놀이성은 교수창의성, 놀이교수효능감을 매개로 유아교사의 놀이지원역량에 직․간접적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 유아교사가 유아의 긍정적인 성장과 발달을 지원하기 위해 자신의 성향을 파악하고 창의적인 놀이지원 방법을 개발하며, 유아교사의 신념과 기대에 대한 피드백을 주고받을 수 있는 유아교육기관 내의 모임을 구성하여 지속적인 성장과 학습의 기회를 제공받아야 함을 시사한다.

This study investigates the mediating effect of early childhood teachers’ teaching creativity and play teaching efficacy in the effect of such teachers’ playfulness on their play support competence by examining the relationship between each variable of playfulness, teaching creativity, play teaching efficacy, and play support competence for teachers working in child education institutions. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 661 homeroom, Nuri assistant, and early childhood teachers who are in charge of after-school classes for children working in child education institutions in City G and Province J. The research results showed that early childhood teachers’ playfulness, teaching creativity, and play teaching efficacy have a significant effect on their play support competence, and that the playfulness directly and indirectly affects the play support competence through teaching creativity and play teaching efficacy. These results suggest that early childhood teachers should be provided with opportunities for continuous growth and learning by forming meetings within an early childhood education institution where they can identify their own tendencies, develop creative play support methods, and exchange feedback on beliefs and expectations for them to support positive growth and development of children.
