학습자 요구분석을 통한 한국어 문학교육 방안 연구 : 여성결혼이민자를 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study I analyze the results of two surveys with regard to an effective teaching methodology of Korean literature. These surveys follow a needs analysis fashion. The participants involved are 230 female immigrants from eight different countries, and each of them is married to a Korean man, currently residing in Korea and learning Korean as a second language. It is widely acknowledged in the Korean education field that Korean literature education can help them understand Korean culture/tradition/history inevitably encoded in the Korean language and can also facilitate their acquisition of L2 Korean.
I attempt to address important contents of the current study as follows. Chapter I provides the purpose/necessity of the current study, previous research, and a specific methodology for the study. In Chapter II, I address (i) the rationale of the current study, which suggests the significance of the Korean literature education, and (ii) learner (in particular, female married immigrants) factors, associated with the significance that literature education has in second language acquisition. Chapter III presents the design of the current study and discusses the results of needs analysis based upon two complementary surveys. Chapter IV is devoted to a methodology of Korean literature education considering those survey results. The methodology proposed reflects not only learners' needs but also various factors such as learning objectives, literary themes, proficiency levels (beginning to advanced). In the final Chapter, Chapter V, I end with the current study with the significance of literature education.
