유아의 정신건강에 미치는 자아존중감 및 감성지수(EQ)에 관한 이론적 고찰

All the parents expect that their children will learn skills for establishing good health habits and be in good health. The mental health is an attribute of children and youth that require developments and nurturing just as their physical health is. The mental health of children and youth is more than the absence of mental illness. They develop their mental and emotional well-being in concordance with their social environment. The mental health plays an important role both in how people behave and in the way they feel. Mentally healthy individuals accept themselves as they are, and they are able to deal with stress, and to act independently. They feel good about other people and so they have good relations with them. I think that these characteristics relate to self-esteem and emotional intelligence(EQ). Therefore, to establish good mental health in children and youth, it is important to improve self-esteem and EQ.
