Due to the recent increase of disputes with floor impact sound in apartment buildings, the standard floor structures were proposed to the general construction company. There has been so many researches about the reduction and evaluation of floor impact sound, however there are little studies about the thermal performance with standard floor structures. In this study, we are aimed to review the evaluation parameter with regard to the sound transmission and the thermal performance, and to analyze the current prEN 15377 standard for calculating the thermal output in the radiant floor heating systems. Finally, the thermal outputs and downward heat losses were analyzed by using the prEN 15377 standard. In results, we have compared the thermal outputs for each structure, which were affected by the flooring materials, pipe spacing, and temperature differences between supplied and returned water.
