커플의 관계정서와 관계만족의 관련성 연구 = The Study on the Association Between Relational Affect and Relationship Satisfaction Among Couples

국문 초록 (Abstract)

커플의 관계정서와 관계만족의 관련성 연구조 영 주*

연구 목적: 이 연구는 커플의 관계정서와 관계만족 간의 관련성을 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다.
연구 방법: 101명의 미혼커플과 부부에게서 수집한 온라인 설문 자료를 대응표본 t-검정, 상관분석, 회귀분석을 활용하여 분석하였다.
연구 내용: 커플 관계만족에 대한 부적관계정서와 정적관계정서의 자기효과 및 상대방 효과를 검정하고 이들 관계에서 성차가 있는지 알아보았다.
결론 및 제언: 남녀 모두 커플 관계정서가 자기 자신의 관계만족을 설명하였고, 정적관계정서에 비해서 부적관계정서가 더 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 여성과 남성의 관계만족에 대한 관계정서의 상대방효과는 부분적으로 유의하였고, 성별에 따른 차이가 있었다. 본 연구는 커플 관계에서의 정서적 경험과 인지적 평가를 구분하고, 관계만족과 관계정서 간의 관련성을 연구하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 또한 본 연구 결과는 관계만족을 증진시키기 위한 커플 및 부부상담 프로그램의 근거 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

The Study on the Association Between Relational Affectand Relationship Satisfaction Among CouplesYoungju Cho

Abstract: This study aims to explore the association between relational affect and relationship satisfaction among couples. Online survey data from 101 dating and married couples were analyzed using paired t-tests, correlation analyses and regression analyses. The actor effect and partner effect of relational affect on relationship satisfaction and the gender differences were examined. The actor effect of relational affect on relationship satisfaction were significant for both male and female, and the effect size of negative relational affect was bigger than that of positive relational affect. The partner effects of relational affect on relationship satisfaction were partially significant, which were different by gender. The significance of this study is that the relational affect was separated from cognitive evaluation on couple relationship and that the association between them was examined. In addition, the findings of this study could be utilized for evidence based couple counseling intervention.
