IPC 코드 시각화를 이용한 특허 분석: 태양광 발전 예측 진단 기술을 중심으로 = Patent Analysis Using IPC Code Visualization: Focusing on Solar Power Prediction and Diagnosis Technology

국문 초록 (Abstract)

기술의 개발 동향을 파악하기 위해서는 해당 기술에 대한 정보를 포함하면서 대중에 공개되는 자료를 수집하고 분석하여야 한다. 그중 특허는 개발기술에 대한 자세한 내용을 포함하고 빠르게 공개되는 자료로써, 기술개발 동향 파악에 용이하다. 특허를 활용한 기술개발 동향 파악에는 다양한 방법이 존재하나, 특허에 부여된 국제특허분류를 사용한다면 세부기술단위로 분석이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 국제특허분류 코드를 기반으로 막대그래프, Circularbarplot, 네트워크 분석을 통해 시각화하고 기술동향을 파악한다. 본 논문에서는 제안하는 방법이 실제 산업에서 활용 가능한지 검증하기 위해 출원된 특허를 수집하여 사용한다. 실험데이터는 태양광 발전 예측 진단 기술과 관련된 것으로 한국, 미국, 일본, 유럽, 특허협력조약에 출원된 것들이다. 실험결과 태양광 발전 예측 진단 기술은 초기에 전력을 저장하는 시스템과 관리 및 감독 기술이 따로 개발되었다. 그러나 최근에는 전력의 저장, 제어, 예측 등의 기술이 융복합적으로 개발되고 있음을 확인하였다.

"In order to understand the development trend of technology, it is necessary to collect and analyze data that is open to the public, including information on the technology. Among them, patents contain detailed information on developed technologies and are quickly released, making it easy to grasp technology development trends.
There are various methods for identifying technology development trends using patents, but if the International Patent Classification assigned to patents is used, analysis can be performed in detailed technology units. In this paper, based on the international patent classification code, visualize and identify technology trends through bar graph, circular barplot, and network analysis. In this paper, applied patents are collected and used to verify whether the proposed method can be used in the actual industry. Experimental data are related to solar power prediction and diagnosis technology, and are applied for patent cooperation treaties in Korea, the United States, Japan, Europe, and so on. As a result of the experiment, the solar power prediction and diagnosis technology was developed separately from the power storage system and management and supervision technology in the early stage.
Recently, however, it has been confirmed that technologies such as power storage, control, and prediction are being developed convergently."
