Purpose To improve the agricultural distribution structure, the government has formulated agricultural distribution policies step by step. Since the opening of the Garak Agricultural Wholesale Market in 1985, a total of 33 agricultural wholesale markets have been established nationwide, transitioning the distribution network from private wholesale markets to public ones. However, while the auction-based trading system has been successfully institutionalized, the government's response to changes in consumption patterns, demographic shifts, and technological innovations has been inadequate.
Methods The government is exploring advanced approaches to agricultural distribution, such as improving supply systems responsive to changing consumption environments and utilizing digital technologies in trading methods.
Results This study focuses on wholesale distribution, which plays a crucial role in agricultural distribution, analyzing the satisfaction with trading methods based on agricultural product characteristics. The research aims to provide fundamental data for raising prices for producers and promoting sustainable agricultural management.
Conclusion The results indicate that agricultural product characteristics significantly influence satisfaction with trading methods.
