갑상선 유두암 세포의 초미형태학적 변화 = Ultrastructural Changes of Papillary Carcinoma of Thyroid

국문 초록 (Abstract)

갑상선 유두암의 미세구조의 변화를 규명하기 위해 사람에서 채취된 갑상선 유두암 8례를 광학 및 전자현미경으로 검색하여 얻어진 소견을 요약하면 다음과 같다.
광학현미경적으로는 유두암세포는 핵봉입체를 가진것과 젖빛유리모양의 염색질을 나타내는 두가지의 세포로 구별되었다.
전자현미경적으로는 종양세포의 핵은 세포질의 함입과 이에 의한 봉입체 형성, 핵체의 출현, 염색질의 감소를 보여 주었으며, 세포질에는 mitochondria의 퇴행성 변화, microvilli의 감소, microfilament의 증가가 일어났다. 이러한 소견들 중 세포소기관의 변화는 종양세포의 일반적인 퇴행성 변화로 생각되며 또한 핵의 봉입체 형성 및 핵체의 출현이 갑상선 유두함 종양세포의 특징적인 미세구조의 변화로 생각되며 아울러 봉입체 및 핵체의 형성기전과 그 의의에 대해 문헌 고찰하였다.

Ultrastructures of tumor cells were studied from 8 cases of papillary carcinoma of thyroid. The results obtained were summarized as follow:
Light microscopic examination disclosed two types of tumor cells; the one was those cells having nuclear inclusions and the other was those cells showing ground glass appearance of nuclei.
Electron microscopic examination disclosed invagination of cytoplasmic material into nuclear substances with formation of inclusion body. Chromatin was decreased in amounts. Cytoplasmic organelles showed degenerative changes of mitochondria, decreased microvilli and increased microfilaments, which were interpreted to represent nonspecific degenerative changes of tumor cells. Characteristic changes of papillary carcinoma thought to be formation of nuclear inclusion and appearance of nuclear body, and mechanism and significance of formation of these structures were discussed.
