정지용 「琉璃窓」 시편의 기호체계 연구 -인지시학적 분석을 중심으로 = A Study on Semiotic System of Jeong, ji-yong`s Poetry “Glass Window" -Focusing on Cognitive Poetic Approaches

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 기호학과 인지시학이라는 서로 다른 연구방법론의 상호 통섭을 시도하고, 그러면서도 시차적 관점을 유지한 채 시 텍스트의 기호체계와 의미구조를 분석해보고자 하는 목적에서 기획되었다. 이를 위해 정지용의 시 「琉璃窓 1」과 「琉璃窓 2」를 텍스트로 삼아 분석의 과정을 보이고자 하였다. 그 이유는 ‘창’이 분절·대립·소통의 기호체계로서의 속성을 잘 보여줄 뿐만 아니라, 화제성과 상황성을 담지할 수 있는 인지론적 은유의 원리를 내포하고 있기 때문이다. 「琉璃窓 1」의 기호체계는 시어의 화제성에 초점을 두고 분석하였다. 또 이 화제성을 중심으로 ‘전경-배경’의 의미론적 전환과정을 행위자로서의 화자와 청자 관계를 통해 분석하였다. 「琉璃窓 2」의 기호체계는 텍스트가 환기하는 상황 스크립트에 초점을 맞춰 분석하였다. 그 결과 「琉璃窓 2」의 도식이 불안과 갈증, 외로움이 결부된 상황스크립트라는 것과, 스크립트 내의 행위가 반복적으로 제시되고 있음을 살폈다. 이 두 텍스트의 분석을 통해 공통적으로 알 수 있는 것은 정지용 시에서 주요한 시적 대상으로 선택되고 있는 ‘유리창’이 주체와 객체를 분리하면서도 이어주는 기능을 한다는 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to attempt the consilience of semiotics and cognitive poetics interactively, but at the same time, to show what the semiotic system and semantic structure of Jeong ji-yong`s text is in keeping the parallax view. In order to clarify that process of analysing, it was approached in Jeong`s “Glass Window-1” and “Glass Window-2”. That is not only why ``window`` brings out some attributes as a semiotic system, but it includes the principle of cognitive metaphor being able to contain topicality and situational-ity. First, the semiotic system of “Glass Window-1” was approached in focusing topicality of poetic words. Based on the topicality, moreover, a semantic shifting process of ``figure-ground`` was derived from relationship with speaker and hearer as actors. Second, the semiotic system of “Glass Window-2” was approached in focusing some situational scripts evoked by texts. Consequently, these scripts of “Glass Window-2” were the situational scripts linked with anxiety, thirst, solitude, etc. and acting in that scripts repeatedly came out as well. As a result, one common feature revealed from these approaches of two poems is that ``glass window`` frequently used in Jeong`s writings functions first as a separator between subject and object, then as a counter-separator.
