당뇨모델 Rat에서 전침 시술에 따른 인슐린 저항성의 감소와 당뇨병 치료 가능성에 대한 문헌적 고찰 = The Review on electroacupuncture effect on insulin resistance and possibility about diabetes mellitus

Objectives： Acupuncture, one of the traditional clinical methods, is useful therapy for diabetes mellitus. The aim of this report is acupuncture is also effective in curing insulin resistance. Methods：We searched research and review articles using keywords of `acupuncture`, `insulin resistance`, `rat` in Pubmed and reviewed. Results and Conclusions： 1. Among the research and review paper, we select proper 4 articles. 2. All papers that we found were associated with insulin pathway and glucose transporter type 4(GLUT4). Electroacupuncture decreased insulin resistance and increased expression of GLUT4. 3. Electroacupuncture was effective for glucose decrease by activating insulin signaling pathway.
