For developing a traffic route and a communications network, interexchange between countries where closer each country more is easier and active. The culture which has a unique feature of every country is changing to various cultural products so it represents competitive power on their culture or forms important roll of their economics. It is important to get competitiveness which has feature of the country to live on “Cultural Age.” So then it is emphasizing traditional art education on Art Education. But there are many difficult things on actual education because they don’t have somedata for educating or a definite guidance method for traditional art education in according to bemore important to have traditional art education.
This study presents a devicefor traditional art education through reading a symbol from subject of animals and plants of which have to be preceded for understanding our traditional art to recognize that how important and necessary traditional art education is. Appreciating a work based on understanding the meaning of a subject of various animals and plants on a traditional art work, it is easy to understand traditional art and the understanding can be expand with understanding the background which had been such a symbol. It has a purpose to recreate tradition with thinking to change the meaning of every subject to the different subject which is on the present circumstance. For them, this study try to find the device to make a work in which has different meaning based on appreciating a traditional art work with various symbol.
In the area of appreciation, classifying them by big subject with filial piety, a good auspice and mandala and made a work in which presents every subject to appreciate with different method. Which relation is the meaning between a subject material and a work inquires before and it makes the meaning of a subject matter to understand in context with interesting in a class to introduce a fairy tale or a historical fact correlated with a subject. It makes the meaning of subject by themselves to arrange with using a study book or mind map and presentation activity based on them to plan.
In the area of presentation, it presents the mind which pray for being happy of people around with a subject matter on a work and understand the mind of an ancestor who prayed to God for mercy as working which makes a birthday card and a mini folding screen in which had the mindto pray good fortune and appreciated Hojakdo in which symbolized a good luck, Sipjangsengdo, Ubeonsunglyoingdo ect. Finally, after appreciating Hyojado as a work which symbolized a filial piety, Bumounjungkyung, it makes the idea of a filial piety of our ancestor to understand. Together, working a subject matteron a work presents gratitude for parents with a cartoon and makes a string for cellular phone in which has a thankful heart so hasa gratitude to their parents to raise and to be important their parents. In the area of expression, after having a discussion and a debate, also it find a device to recreate tradition through working of thinking about new subject matter in which has a good auspice, mandala and the meaning of filial piety.
