그림책 속 자기 감정 돌봄과 돌봄 관계 양상 = Reading Picture Books from a Caring Perspective

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문의 목적은 돌봄의 다양한 층위 중에서 돌봄관계 관점에서 그림책을 분석하는 것이다. 돌봄관계에 있어서는 에바 키테이의 의존관계 개념과 텐 하브의 취약성 개념, 돌봄 소통의 구체적 방법인 휴머니튜드의 네 가지 기법을 중심으로 그림책을 분석하였다.
돌봄 관계를 통해서 󰡔블랙 독󰡕에서는 자기 소통을 통한 돌봄 관계를, 󰡔내 모자 어디 갔을까󰡕에서는 실패한 돌봄 관계를, 󰡔샘과 데이브가 땅을 팠어요󰡕에서는 소통을 통한 돌봄 관계를, 󰡔이럴 수 있는 거야??!󰡕에서는 타자의 상처에 응답한 돌봄 관계를 분석하였다.
돌봄의 관점에서 그림책을 분석하면서 다음과 같은 돌봄에 대한 결론을 정리하면, 첫째 자기 감정 돌봄은 타인과의 돌봄 관계를 위해서도 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 둘째 돌봄이 충분히 이루어지지 않는 돌봄 관계는 갈등이 악화되고 더 큰 문제를 발생시킬 수 있다. 좋은 돌봄은 돌봄 수혜자가 자기의 문제, 자기에 대한 깊은 이해를 할 수 있게 돕는 것이다. 셋째 돌봄 관계에서 소통은 매우 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 문제 해결에 이르지 못할 수 있지만, 의미 있는 관계 형성이 가능하다. 넷째 돌봄 관계에서 돌봄 수혜자가 자기의 문제, 자기에 대한 깊은 이해를 할 수 있게 할 때, 문제 해결과 의미 있는 관계 형성이 가능하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to analyze picture books from the perspective of caring relationships across the various layers of care. In terms of care relationships, the analysis focuses on Eva Kittay's concept of dependency, Ten Haub's concept of vulnerability, and Humanitude's four techniques, which are specific methods of care communication. This paper analyzed following aspects through the lens of care relationships: self-communication in 󰡔Black Dog󰡕, a failed care relationship in Where Did My Hat Go?, care through communication in Sam and Dave Dig the Ground, and responding to others’ wounds in Oh My God Is it possible??!. By analyzing these picture books from the care perspective, conclusions about caregiving can be drawn. First, self-care is also important for caring relationships with others. Second, a relationship lacking adequate care can escalate conflicts and cause bigger problems. Good care can help care recipients to develop a deep understanding of their problems and themselves. Third, communication is very important in a caring relationship. It may not always lead to a solution to the problem, but it can facilitate meaningful relationships. Fourth, in caring relationships, when care recipients gain a deep understanding of their problems and themselves, problem-solving and forming meaningful relationships become possible.
