This study focuses on cooperation of alternative spaces between Busan and Fukuoka. Exploratory considerations for activating potential of alternative spaces through exchange between regions is the object of this study. Then, this study is divided into two main parts. First, it is to explain the present condition about alternative spaces in the Fukuoka region. Second, it is pending analysis through the Q-methodology.
Based on these result, this study suggests seven policy agendas. These policy agendas are as follows: First, above all, it is necessary to establish a support policy based on Arm’s length principle. Second, it is important to support international movement between Busan and Fukuoka by ships or aircraft. Third, it is essential to energize alternative spaces in Busan, and establish a new space for creative alternative activists to freely work with other spaces activists. Forth, human resource for alternative spaces management and international exchange should be trained. Fifth, it is necessary to build the archive-platform about information of spaces, activists and outputs. Sixth, it is critical to set up a cooperative system for cultural exchange of alternative spaces. Lastly, the creation of demand through mutual contact with region policies is needed.
