박용규 교수와 개혁주의

국문 초록 (Abstract)

상기 논문 “박용규와 개혁주의”는 그의 다양한 저술과 글 그리고 활동에서 개혁주의적 측면을 고찰하고 있다. 무엇보다도 박용규가 이해하는 개혁주의의 역사 및 한국의 개혁주의에 대한 이해는 중요하게 거론되고 있다. 이를 통해 무엇보다도 개혁주의 전통을 분명히 드러내려고 시도한다. 이러한 개혁주의 전통과 원리는 박용규의 지난 30여년의 활동을 통해서 보여주는 역사 서술, 교육활동에서 그리고 다양한 한국교회를 향한 주장에서 등장한다. 본 논고에서는 박용규의 개혁주의 전통에 대한 역사적 이해와 정의 그리고 관심을 살펴본다. 그는 처음부터 끝까지 개혁주의의 핵심 요소인 교리, 경건, 문화라는 세 측면을 통해 역사를 이해하고, 역사를 기술하고, 교회의 바람직한 방향을 제시하고자 수고하고 있다. 더 나아가 개혁주의 정신이 지속적으로 한국교회에 실현되기를 열망하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper “Yong-kyu Park and the Reformed” examines the reformed-aspects from his various writings, books, and activities. Above all, it is important what and how Park Yong-kyu understands on the history and tradition of the Reformed tradition and on the Reformed in Korea. Through this efforts, he thought, the Reformed faith will be clear. For the past 30 years he tried to spread the Reformed faith through his educational and academical works and others activities.
From the beginning to the end, he is striving to understand and ascribe history, and provide a desirable direction for the church through three aspects: doctrine, godliness, and culture, which are key elements of the Reformed faith. Furthermore, he wish, these elements are eager to continuously be realized in the Korean church.
